A reflexologist uses specialised foot massage techniques to work through your body's systems, as reflected on the feet.
Imbalances may be detected in certain areas, just as you may feel some reflexes to be more tender than others. By unblocking these imbalances, symptoms can be improved. Along with activating nerve endings, reflexology also works with connective tissue (fascia) and the circulatory and lymphatic systems. It involves opening up the energy channels that start and finish in the feet, otherwise known as the Chinese meridians. |
