A warming Chinese herbal tea blend

Winter Tea is a thoughtfully composed Chinese herbal tea designed to suit cooler weather and slower routines. The blend brings together hawthorn berry, red date and cinnamon to create a full-bodied, gently spiced infusion.

Many people choose this tea during the cooler months, as part of everyday self-care routines or as an alternative to caffienated hot beverages. It’s well suited to moments spent indoors, taking time out, or simply enjoying a warming cup of tea on a cold day.

This tea is packaged in glass containers with cork stoppers and is completely free of plastics. The simple, elegant design feels just as at home on open display as it does in a favourite tea cupboard.

A winter flavour and character

Naturally sweet and aromatic, this tea has a rounded flavour profile often compared to apple pie. Cinnamon adds warmth and depth, while hawthorne berries and red dates contribute soft fruit notes that make the blend both comforting and easy to enjoy.

Ingredients:
  • Cinnamon (Gui Zhi/Cinnamomum Cassia)
  • Hawthorn berry (Crataegus Pinnatifida)
  • Apple pieces (Malus Pumila)

Weight: 360g
Dimensions: 25cm x 15cm x 15cm

Traditional Chinese preparation

Prepared using herbs commonly found in traditional Chinese herbal practice, this blend reflects a considered approach to ingredient selection, balance and flavour, without being overly strong or bitter.

Created by an experienced Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and herbalist based in Perth, the wider tea range reflects careful ingredient selection, small-batch formulation and a considered approach to traditional herbal preparation.

How to prepare your herbal tea

Before use, shake gently to evenly distribute the herbs.
  • For a mug: use 1 heaped teaspoon of herbs
  • For a teapot: use up to 3 heaped teaspoons

Cover with freshly boiled water and steep for at least 3 minutes before, then strain before drinking. If desired, your mug or teapot can be refilled up to three times using the same herbs.
